All courses follow OSHA Guidelines and Standards.

CPR (Adult/Child/Infant) ($45.00) -
Participants learn how to perform CPR and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Healthcare Provider) ($65.00) -
Designed for any individual who has a duty to respond to emergencies: EMS, Fire, Lifeguards, Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, etc.

First Aid (add on for $20.00 or stand alone for $45.00) - Participants learn first aid skills for treating a  variety of injuries, such as burns; wounds; head, neck and back injuries; and heat and cold related emergencies.  Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure, bites and poisoning.

AED (included) - Participants learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) on adult victims of cardiac arrest or child victims of cardiac arrest.

Emergency Response ($350.00) - This comprehensive first-responder level course is ideal for students pursuing a healthcare career or a career involving a duty to respond in emergency situations. This course meets the 1995 Department of Transportation First Responders: National Standard Curriculum.

Babysitter's Training ($50.00) - This very popular course give 11 to-15 year olds the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children.

Administering Emergency Oxygen (add on for $25.00) - This course teaches laypersons and professional rescuers when and how to use emergency oxygen, resuscitation masks and BVMs to ventilate a victim.

Asthma Inhaler Training Lesson (ARC add on for $20.00) - Ideal for coaches, teachers and childcare providers, this lesson is designed to help individuals learn how to correctly administer an asthma inhaler to a person who is having an asthma attack.

Epinephrine Auto-Infector Training Module (ARC add on for $20.00) - Ideal for coaches, teachers and childcare providers, this module is designed to help individuals learn how to correctly administer an epinephrine auto-injector to a person who is suffering from a severe allergic reaction.

Lifeguard Training ($195.00/recert $95.00) - This comprehensive course prepares participants for employment as lifeguards and features a streamlines modular format that allos for a flexible program designed to meet your needs.

GuardStart:Lifeguarding Tomorrow ($95.00) - This course provides a foundation of lifeguarding and life skills.  For those with swimming skills, this program is an ideal transition between Red Cross Learn-to-Swim and the lifeguard Training course.

Lifeguard Management ($150.00) - Teaches aquatic managers and lifeguard supervisors how to effectively manage lifeguards and keep patrons, lifeguards and aquatic facilities safe.

Sport Safety Training ($75.00) - This program is designed to help coaches, athletic trainers and other participants identify and eliminate potentially hazardous conditions in various sports environments, recognize emergencies and make appropriate decisions for first aid care.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission (Add on for $20.00 or stand alone $35.00) - Add this module to your CPR and First Aid training to emply with the training component of OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.  Employees will learn how bloodborne pathogens are spread and how to prevent exposures and what to do if exposed to infectious materials.

Injury-Control Modules: (ARC add on for $20.00)
   *Ergonomics: Participants learn to reduce repetitive stress injuries by improving posture, rearranging work areas, using proper tools and doing simple exercises.
   *Slips, Trips & Falls: Topics include the causes of accidents and remedies for common hazards, plus practical advice on shoe selection, ladder safety and injury prevention programs.
   *Back Injury Prevention: Beginning with back anatomy, participants learn to assess the causes of their personal back pain and learn how posture, stretching and safe lifting skills can reduce the risk of injury.
   *Workplace Violence Awareness: Realistic scenarios help participants recognize impending workplace violence and learn ways to ensure their personal safety and security.
   *Managing Stress: Facts on the causes of stress, self-quizzes and discussion help individuals recognize their stressors and develop personal stress-reduction strategies for work and personal lives.
   *Your Heart Matters: Targeting primary lifestyle risk factors, including smoking, diet and exercise, this module helps people take steps to adopt healthier behaviors and reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.
